Snap-on Hook for 20mm Square Tubing

A small, fast-printing utility hook designed to snap securely around 20mm x 20mm square tubing, which has historically been used by Ikea in a number of their products. These hooks were designed for and are shown on the crossbars of an Ikea “JOURNALIST” bookshelf, but likely fit other models.

These shelves were discontinued around 2007, but turn up regularly on the used market, often cheap, though often without the accessories that originally mounted to them. This is one of several add-ons that I plan to make for it.

Printed from white PLA+ on a Prusa i3 MK3S. At 100%, it will fit (tightly) around 19.9-20.0mm square tube. Scale up or down based on your needs.
