This model uses two side-by-side Multiconnect pegs to mount an Xbox (XB1?) controller on an openGrid wall-board.

It can probably print without support, but I'd recommend painting some support under the front lip section to help the short rounded overhangs come out nicer. (I gave this model a few more curves and flowing lines than I would in a more function-focused engineering style. Unfortunately this makes a few spots a little trickier to print nicely, but I thought adding some aesthetic appeal was important for an item that's more destined for living rooms than workshops or lab benches.)

The rear face of the mount is very narrow, so it does not obstruct other items from being attached to adjacent openGrid squares (that's why the outer walls on the back are so thin). However, when the controller is added, it will rest just in front of about a 6-square wide section, including a row above and below the mount. Only low-profile items like cover snaps will fit in that area without colliding with a controller.

  • Thanks to @DavidD for creating and open-sourcing both the openGrid and Multiconnect standards!
  • I was initially inspired by this model from @Darth_Hawk_3180042, and I referenced a few key dimensions from it when making my design in CAD from scratch.
