PDF

A rugged and accurate spectrophotometer that students can assemble, transport between home and school, and use in combination with their own smartphone. It stands straight up, facilitating various types of experiments, and using a soft back cover of the student’s mobile phone so that it requires only a single calibration procedure. A second unique feature is that it allows for emission, absorption, and fluorescence spectroscopy, hence supporting a large range of potential topics from chemistry, physics, and even biology curricula.

Refer to the attached publication for assembly, calibration & use instructions.
