This is a custom X-carriage designed specifically for the BigTreeTech Eddy Bed Level Sensor, based on the original Voron 2.4 X-carriage.
Instead of the standard probe mount slots, this remix uses insert nut positions, allowing you to mount the Eddy probe either higher or lower — depending on your hotend setup (HF / UHF → V6, Volcano).
The result: the Eddy probe sits 2.5 mm above the nozzle tip, which appears to be the optimal offset for reliable operation.
When calibrating Eddy with Klipper:
This improves probe consistency across different bed temperatures.
I personally recommend using Eddy only for mesh generation, and relying on your hardware Z endstop or Voron Tap for general homing.
Note: If you're using a magnetic Hall sensor as your X endstop, you'll need to add a hole for the magnet — the screw position has shifted slightly compared to the stock design.
