Installation Requirements
Designed for use with a custom-cut mounting plate (sold separately) that fits your specific window.
The plate must have one or two 16 cm holes, depending on whether you are using a single- or dual-hose system.
For dual-hose setups, ensure adequate spacing between holes to prevent hot exhaust air from being drawn into the intake.
Material Recommendations
Suitable materials for the mounting plate include plexiglass, MDF, wood, or plywood. Select the material that best fits your window and installation needs.
When securing the adapter base, screws are generally sufficient for most materials. For acrylic glass, adhesive may be preferable.
The current adapter is designed to fit an up to 8mm strong plate. If you need a thicker plate, contact me. I can provide custom lengths
Product Features
The adapter set features a quick-release mechanism, allowing you to detach the hose from the mounting plate easily when relocating your AC unit. This eliminates the need to unscrew the hose, simplifying the process.
Compatible exclusively with 150 mm air hoses that are threaded counterclockwise. Hoses with clockwise threading are not supported at this time. Please contact us if you require a clockwise-threaded adapter.
3D Printing Guide
The hose adapter can be printed without supports if your 3D printer is properly calibrated.
The adapter base should be printed with tree supports at the connection interface to ensure smooth assembly.
Due to the heat produced by AC units, it is recommended to use PETG or more heat-resistant materials for printing. ASA is particularly suitable due to its UV resistance.
For best results, carefully plan your installation and ensure all components are compatible with your specific setup.
