I'm using a different hotend and there wasn't too much room to mount the Cartographer in the same way @Scotts3D did.
I redisigned it to have:
- A new mount for MCU board. At the side or the Orbiter motor
- Reinforced coild board mount. As I didn't have the MCU board next to the coil board, I could beef it up.
Printing. Use standard Voron PFI settings. “Dragon Burner - Tapchanger - Cartographer coil board mount.stl” needs support.
Hardware:
- 4x M2x6. To hold the MCU board lid.
- 1x M3 heat insert.
- 2x M3 hex nuts.
- 1x M3x6 BHCS. To hold EBB mount to MCU board mount.
- 2x M3x10 BHCS. To hold coil board mount.
- 1x M3x20 SHCS. To hold MCU board to Orbiter.
- 2x M3 4mm Flat head screws (the ones that come with the probe). I filed them down a bit so they are flush with the nut.
- Wires to connect coil board to MCU board.
Note: Space between Orbiter and EBB36 board is 18mm long.
I modified the STL I had for the EBB36 mount, so I can't upload STEP file. I couldn't find the original model online to make an attribution. If it's yours, please leave a comment and I will update the page.
