These are two simple but useful 3D-printed parts for tent poles with a 5mm diameter, originally made for the Thule Tepui Kukenam 3 rooftop tent (but should fit similar tents too).
One is an o-ring that helps stop rainwater from running down the pole into the tent. The other is a small end cap to protect the tent fabric from getting damaged by the pole tip.
The end cap is a press fit and stays in place. The o-ring is loose enough to move by hand but won’t slide on its own.
I printed these in PETG, but I recommend TPU for the o-ring (flexible) and ASA for the end cap (UV-resistant).
These are small parts but very handy, especially if you’ve lost the originals, as they are very loose (after 2 years of not very much use)
Included Fusion 360 file if you want to tweak it to fit.
