I built a coat rack using self-printed hooks and a fence post from a hardware store (costs round about 1 Euro). I drilled holes in the notched post and screwed the hooks on from behind. I used 4x45 wood screws to ensure the hooks wouldn't break. The oldest of these coat racks are now five years old (was the first prints on my new Anycubic Mega S…). I printed the hooks from PLA, and not a single one broke – even with two heavy jackets on one hook.
I print with PLA an 30-40% infill.
The hook already has a hole so that a 4x40 or 4x45 wood screw can be held in place without any additional glue or anything similar.
The fence slats are untreated, but for a better look I lightly flamed them with a gas burner
For wall mounting, I drilled two holes in the fence slat and screwed it directly to the wall with an 8mm dowel.
Of course you can use the model for your one ideas to build outher wardrobes or screw it on a existing Wardrobe or something like that.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
