Remote Holder for Honeywell Pedestal Stand Fan

I designed a remote holder for the Honeywell 16 in. Double Blade Pedestal Stand Fan, Black - HSF1640B that attaches to the lower part of the stand. The holder is fastened using two 5.41mm x 1.73 mm square nuts. (I believe this is the same nut size Prusa uses for their printers).  It can be attached with an M3 screw sizes 10mm through 14mm.  For my application, I used a 12mm M3 screw.

This was designed in FreeCAD 1.0.1.  I have included the STEP files for remote holder. I have not uploaded the model file as of yet, but I get enough requests, I may consider posting.

I also included an STL and STEP file of the remote. This was used to cut the remote from the holder. Note, it was manually modeled with calipers, tracing paper, and guesswork.  I made the remote slightly bigger all around, so after cutting, the remote would have a little space.

(And yes, I am aware, and my boss pointed this out too, it does look like a toilet bowl … ;-)
