Stackable accessory designed to keep your airgun pellet tins tightly sealed and secure inside bags, cases, pockets, … during transport. This two-part threaded ring consists of a base and a cap, both with matching threads, similar to a mason jar lid system. Simply place your standard pellet tin inside the base, screw on the cap, and your tin is securely locked, preventing accidental opening, expecially for the tins without threads that are only glued with tape when new. The base and lids of same size are stackable.

The design comes in three sizes to accommodate different pellet tins:

  • Standard size: Fits 500 pcs .177 JSB pellet tins (one RWS .177 tin I had fits too), 200 pcs .22 JSB.
  • Large size: Fits 500 pcs .22 JSB pellet tins (tested with JSB only).
  • Small size: Fits 200 pcs .177 JSB pellet tins and some oldchool czech 300 pcs .177 lead round ball tins I had fit too (usefull for VZ 47 owners I guess).

I did not try to make it universal for all pellet tin case sizes. I simply made it for the JSB pellets I sometimes use because the tins feel flimsy and would easilly open and spill in bags (although I saw newer batches have threads already).

Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG (I did not try PLA, but I see no reason it shouldn't work)
  • Infill: only base needs infill for small part, should not matter, 20 % for example
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm, I wouldn't go higher and smaller is not necessary
  • Perimeters: 4 minimum (walls with threads will be filled and it will be faster than infill)
  • Supports: No need

Provided 3MF files are configured for Prusa MINI 0.4 nozzle and are ready to slice and print. It shouldn't be a problem to import them as objects only and set it up with info above for different printer. I reccomend inidividual object completion to avoid stringing.
