These parts are meant to solve an annoying issue with the Traxxas Slash that I have, mainly that the body is not supported in the middle, under the roof, and therefore impacts with the car cause the body to crack severely.
Therefore, I have designed a body center brace, which fits on top of the Traxxas center chassis brace (part number TRX6730X - required), and acts as a bumper for roof impacts. To complete the build, you will also need a 10x10mm aluminium beam, easily found at any hardware store, that you will need to cut down to size (about 80mm, but measure on the spot just to be right). In the beam you will need to cut 2 holes, which align with the holes on the top and bottom piece (as seen in the pictures). Other needed hardware is an M3x20mm and M3x25mm screw, some nuts and washers, plus some M3x10/12mm to fix the top part to the roof of the body. Additionally you might also want some countersunk washers for a cool effect, they are also found at any hardware store or online.
This piece is compatible with other aftermarket bodies as well (such as Proline ones), you will just have to adjust the length of the beam. Note that in the photos, the red piece is made from TPU and the black one from PETG, I find that the extra flexibility is sometimes beneficial, but of course you are welcome to try other combos and share your results.
The other pieces represent body protectors, for the roof and the rear “ears” of the stock Slash body. For the Raptor body, there are also multiple protectors, for all parts of the body.
The Raptor in the pictures is actually an Arrma Kraton with a Slash Raptor body, using 3D printed adapters to fit the body onto the original Arrma body posts. I will also upload those parts on Printables if there is demand for it, maybe some other people want to use a Slash body on a Kraton chassis, there is not much info online about it.
