Magnetic Dual-Axis Pulley for Flexible Filament – Friction Reduction for Prusa Enclosure

Overview

This magnetic pulley system reduces filament friction when printing with TPU or other flexible filaments inside the Original Prusa enclosure.

Features

• Dual-axis rotation:
  
  • Axis 1: Guides filament smoothly from spool to extruder
  • Axis 2 (rotated 90°): Allows the pulley to pivot and follow the motion of the toolhead
• Magnetic mounting: Attach it anywhere in your enclosure to match your filament path and workflow. Easy to reposition Or move out of the way when not needed
• Enclosed filament channel: the filament is fed through a tapered channel that prevents it from slipping out during printing. 

Required Hardware:

• Bearings: 2x 32mm OD, 20 mm ID, 7 mm thickness ball bearings
• Magnets: 4x 4 mm diameter, 8 mm length cylindrical magnets

Print recommendations:

• Use PETG or other sturdy material for strength
• No supports required if oriented properly
