A simple PARAMETRIC drawing of an idler flange
this can be used to modify any idler flange to suite your needs… in my case it was to make the cheaper and easier to source idler needed for Kat2Z as you need a flange of 15mm or less to stop it rubbing on the rear panel.
to use this model first open it up in Fusion360

from here navigate to the “Modify” tab and towards the bottom click on “change parameters”

this will now bring up the dialog window for you to set the parameters for your idler

Once you have made the desired changes you can now export as a .3MF for slicing and printing!
printers settings i found to work well for this part were…
First layer 0.2mm
other layers 0.12mm
other setting i will leave to you but the part is soooo smol i left the rest as per normal Voron print settings to give a solid part.
AND they only take a few seconds to print!
after a trial fit i put a few smol dabs of super glue on to make sure they wouldnt pop off and TA DA! you now have a custom idler!
Why not jazz it up with some cool colours!
Happy Printing!
