My microdrippers keep popping out of the 4.6 mm tube even though it's a new original tube and I'm using an original A2000 pressure reducer. The new recipie for a softer 4.6 mm tube worsened the problems.
This solution involves placing a sleeve around the 4.6 mm tube to reinforce it and prevent it from expanding when the Micro Dripper is screwed in. I put the sleeve so that the tube protrudes approximately 2 mm from the sleeve. This allows the tube to fit over the bead of the dripper and create a seal.
Print in PETG or another UV resistant material. The sleeve is 2 walls thin, which is sufficient. Versions with 1 wall broke too fast. You may want to print the outer skin as fuzzy skin on the non-spiked version for a better grip, when screwing in a dripper. The spiked version is perfect to position the dripper at the plant, not needing the original spikes. Bonus tip: Do not hold onto the spike, when screwing into the spiked version, its not strong enough for that.
