Subaru WRX STi GoPro Roof Rack Mount

A mount for any camera using standard GoPro-style 3 lug mounts that bolts to the roof rack hardpoints of a VA WRX/STi. Presumably fits other Subaru models using the same hardpoints.

It captures a really great perspective just above the driver's point of view that's netted me some really great footage both for review and sharing with others.

The mount is intended to be reinforced using 3/8" ID x 1" steel spacers similar to these: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hillman-3-8-I-D-x-1-2-O-D-x-1-in-Seamless-Steel-Spacer-5-Pack-880417/204726192

The spacers are intentionally a press fit – you should be able to push them into place using either a vise or a pair of channel locks.

You will need a pair of M6 fender washers and M6x35mm bolts to secure the mount to the roof. Additionally, an M5 nut and either an original GoPro thumb knob or an M5x20mm or longer bolt is needed for mounting the camera. I would highly recommend using a bolt and driver to get enough compression to lock the camera angle in place.

Printed in PA-CF, this mount has survived three seasons of autocross and rallycross without issue – more than I can say about many parts on the car!
