A Perma Proto Board from Adafruit was used to simplify connections to a Raspberry Pi that served as an Octoprint server for a Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer. Rather than have the Perma Proto Board dangle in space, a simple case was created on which the board was mounted.
Conditions:
Printer: Prusa i3 MK3S
Filament: Jet Black Prusament PETG
Extruder: Constant 240 ° C
Hotbed: First layer 85 °C heating to 90 °C for remaining layers
No supports
2 perimeters
Rotate .stl file 90 degrees to print. gcode file is in correct orientation for printing. Post-printing, I used an M3 metal screw to cut threads into the standoffs. M3 x 6 mm nylon screws were used to hold down the Perma Proto Board avoid a short circuit as the screw holes are very close to the solder points.
Perma Proto Board sits slightly below the top of the case.
