X-Shot Longshot – Aluminum Bar Dart Pusher
This is a reinforced dart pusher designed specifically for the X-Shot Longshot. Unlike the stock plastic pusher, this design uses a solid aluminum bar joined with 3D printed end pieces to increase rigidity and deliver a smoother, more consistent prime. It's a great upgrade for anyone looking to improve durability and performance in their Longshot builds, especially high-powered springer setups.
The 3D printed ends are modeled for a snug, secure fit and are designed to hold up under repeated stress without the flex seen in some plastic-only designs. By offloading structural load onto the aluminum, this hybrid approach minimizes wear and delivers a clean, responsive prime every time.
Assembly Instructions
To assemble this dart pusher, you’ll need:
1x M3 x 12mm countersunk bolt
1x M3 nut
1x M3 x 12mm countersunk self-tapping screw
1x M3 x 25mm countersunk screw
At the prime block end, install the M3x12 bolt through the aluminium rod and printed part and secure with the M3 nut. On the opposite end, use the M3x12 self-tapping screw to secure the bar into the printed part. Make sure the hole on the aluminium bar for the pusher end is counter sunk to prevent contacting the outer shell.
Finally, attach Part A to Part B using the M3x25 pan head screw. During assembly, ensure the holes in the pusher line up precisely with the holes in the turnaround mechanism inside the plunger — this is critical for proper operation and feed alignment.
Notes
This design assumes use of a 10x3mm profile aluminum bar.
Recommend printing the end pieces in a strong material like PLA+, PETG, or an engineering resin for best results.
File includes STL for both end pieces and technical drawing for connecting metal bar.
