Vacuum packing filament (and other stowables) is made a lot easier with this print. Place whatever you want to vacuum pack in your storage bag, put this disk in last, seal the bag, and then align the disk with your vacuum bag's valve.
Place your vacuum pump over the valve, ensuring the center of the disk is lined up with the center of the bag's valve, and appreciate being able to vacuum out the air from the bag as fast and as reliably as possible with your pump! At its core, the part serves to separate the two layers of plastic bag from one another so the valve doesn't get plugged from the inside as you're trying to evacuate air from the bag.
This part was designed with some lazy, yet functional, integrated bridge supports. Although the disk is hollow inside, you don't need to worry about poor print quality as long as you're able to print at least 15mm bridges. (Review the layers in your slicer to see how the internal structure is handled.)
