Barge for tug boat ship

This is a project to make a tow barge for my canal tug Lisa 
I am now busy printing.
The length of the tow barge can be extended with extra middle pieces.
I will add the STEP file so that things can be adjusted.

The parts are printed. Extra middle parts printed so that the channel tug "amsterdammetje" fits in the cargo space.
This allows the tug to be transported safely and without damage.
You can make the barge to the length you want.
The hull is greased with resin and let it harden in the sun.
Now to paint it.

I made a mistake, after a layer of paint I put the barge outside in the sun to dry faster. In the end I forgot to take the barge out of the sun and the barge stood in the bright sun all day. This made the PLA a bit soft, which is not so bad because I had coated the barge with resin. But I think that the trapped air in the infill started to expand due to the heat. In places where I had smeared a somewhat thicker layer of resin it did not start to "bubble". I leave it, it gives a special structure. I recommend printing the wall from four shells in any case, I had printed two.
