Raven Bookend

I was very surprised to discover that I couldn't find a printable bookend featuring a raven anywhere on the internet. Naturally, I had to make my own and, while I had a very clear vision of what I wanted, I currently lack the skills to make such a beautiful sculpture. Fortunately, Hexeguy had already applied his substantial talent to make a fantastic raven tree-topper. I was able to cut away what I didn't need and merge it with my bookend-backer design in Orca slicer. The result is a fantastic piece that I am really very proud of. It came out exactly as I had envisioned and even printed without supports – though I did turn on “make overhangs printable” and set it to 55° to handle a few small trouble spots.

Full disclosure, I had a layer shift with only 2% of the print left (a stepper motor overheated), but I stopped it right away, resliced and printed the remaining section before gluing it together.
