These missile rails are an option for the Freewing F-18C Legacy Hornet 90 mm EDF. These screw onto the wingtips in the OEM location. I drilled and tapped the OEM mounting holes to fit 2-56 Nylon Countersunk screws, but you can use whatever method works best for you.

NOTE: These missile rails do not have a provision for also mounting AIM-9 missiles. If that is a mod you want, you'll need to make provisions to do that on your own.

My thought was magnets (requires drilling) or simply gluing the missiles to the rails, if I ever thought I wanted add those.

I printed mine using “Supports Everywhere” in Prusa Slicer at 0.15mm layer height using Hatch-Box Silver PLA filament.

My settings were default per Prusa Slicer for Hatch-Box PLA.

Use the “LAY FLAT” tool to get all parts on the flat side per design.

These files include RH and LH parts and are labeled such.

The outside Part 4 (LH or RH) is glued to the assembly with E6000 adhesive.

I mounted all parts 1-4 on the wingtip and carefully applied the glue to the forward and aft areas, wiped away any excess after clamping in place.

Leave to dry a couple hours, dismount the parts and use thin CA to fill any gaps or unglued area.

All post processing was done off the model using one coat primer and then color to match the wings.

There is a gap in each Part 1 where a marker light (Red-LH or Green-RH) would be and I filled that gap with UV cure acrylic resin tinted with either Tamiya Clear Red (Left) or Green (Right).

There are 8 small “Formation Light Inserts” that you can paint “Slime Green” or in my case I used those as template to cut out Glow-In-the-Dark tape I found on Am*zon. A nice look, IMHO.

All in all, a simple mod that took less than 14 hours to print with my Mk3S+.

Post any question/comments here. Enjoy and happy printing.
