Remix of @jbehler_2645718 's safety gate adapter to work with a 1" square steel banister.
Adjusted the hole shapes to print more round on a 3D printer (model holes designed as tear drop shapes as opposed to circles)

I used an M5 Tap to cut threads for the M5 screw on the front piece. A smooth bore M5 drill would work as well. I did not make that hole tear shaped for better printing because I intended to tap it anyway.
The 3mf file has the files laid out in the optimal print orientation.
I personally used Prusament PC-CF for maximum strength, since the part is potentially load-bearing.
