Complete redesign due to the original being badly thought through and wasteful. The new model is easier to use, uses less material and is quicker to print.
This solution suspends your 200 x 150 mm household waste paper bag in the air within a IKEA Variera/Utrusta pull-out tray (older model, with the 14 mm frame).
The idea was to not have the underside of the bag touch any surface that would need periodical cleaning, and could promote mould growth. The bag is kept well open, and is also raised a fair amount to prevent spillage.
The design is divided into two models, a rail (2 required) over which two of the opposing sides of the bag is folded and hung, and holders (4 required) that clip on to the frame and hold the rail. Push the head ends of the clips into the holes in the bottom of the rails (flat side of the rail towards the bag) until they click into position.
The models are made for a 0.4 mm nozzle (0.4 mm line width) but the smallest details are 1.2 mm large, so a 0.6 mm nozzle should work just as well.
Print 4 of these, and print for strength. With the below settings the print time in Cura is around 16 minutes and weight 4 g per clip.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Layer height | 0.3 mm |
| Z seam alignment | Sharpest corner |
| Wall line count | 3 |
| Infill | 10 % gyroid |
| Connect infill lines | Yes |
| Wall print speed | 150 mm/s |
| Adhesion | Brim |
Print 2 of these rails. Print time according to Cura is about 27 minutes and weight 9 g, each.
Print the rail standing, as the STL is modelled. There are two pockets, but the overhangs slope at 45° internally, so no support needed.
| Parameter | Value |
