QIDI Plus4 Backside Lid Riser

Place the backside edge of QIDI Plus4 lid on this lid riser, to rise the lid to have better air circulation when printing PLA.

The lid can be closed without removing them. So, you can keep them always attached to your QIDI Plus4.

They are best in use with “QIDI Plus4 Angled Lid Risers” by FrankensteinCAD. Then, you can rise both the front and back sides of the lid. In the picture below, the front side of the lid is risen by them.

You can also rise the front side only, without removing the backside riser.

Printing

• Any PLA should work.
• No support is needed.
• Default setting with "0.20mm Standard @XPlus4" was used.
  • Layer height 0.2mm
  • Default line width 0.42mm
  • Wall loop 2
  • Top/Bottom shell layers 5
  • Sparse infill 15% with Grid

Assembly

The parts can be press snapped onto your QIDI Plus 4, making use of the screw hole as a catch. No glue is needed to very firmly fix them to your QIDI Plus 4's frame. They will never fall when you put the lid on them. Actually, it may be difficult to remove them without breaking them.
