Stratum3D Drybox - simple but effective drybox for up to 1kg spools.

This is a simple but effective drybox which is easy to use. Originally made to sell to customers through Stratum3d.no , but producing many is time consuming. We will continue to make them, but also share the design online. 

made to hold 3 large, reuseable silicagel boxes. It was originally designed to be used with a fan to quickly pull down the RH level. But for ease of use and no cables we added 1 more silica box instead. 

There are mainly 3 versions

1: With hygrometer and a drawer for the silica boxes

2: Without hygrometer

3: Without hygrometer and drawer, but with our logo. (probably the easiest one to print if you need many).

This box is not meant to hold the spool “forever” so there is no gasket, but rather a small plastic lip that does the job well.

Print with a low-warp material like PLA or PETG. (if you want ASA you need a heated chamber for sure and good adhesion to the bed.  A preheated Voron should do it)

A cool color combo is black ASA which turns dark-grey and matt, with a black PLA lid + drawer. Looks very Stealth-ish :)

When printing the lid with glass, break of the support sideways for a clean-cut.
