I remixed the original Z axis carriage to add longer arms and an additional set of holes. I also opened up the bearing location by 0.1 mm. Clamps and Bearing Rod Supports are the same as the original design but presented here for convenience. I like the 10mm bearing rods because they add more stiffness to the Z axis carriage. The longer arms and extra mount points further stiffen the Z axis carriage. I suggest that you print the bearing clamp laying down and with supports in the square opening.

Update 12-24-2016:
I decided to make the bearing clamp more robust, eliminate the countersunk screw hole, and rotate it 90 deg. so it is laying down. Both the original and V2 are posted. The original was a direct copy of the original design posted here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1830472
