UPDATE (16/09/2025):
After building a few things with these joints, I find that the inserts are much too weak, even with PETG.
I'm working on a more robust version, mainly just thicker walls and less stress points.
I modeled up some elbow and T joints for PVC pipes, but I didn't like having to screw the pipes into the printed parts, so I made this.
Usage:
Connector inserts friction fit into the ends of your pipes, use a tiny bit of glue if it's loose.
The pipes with inserts are then connected into elbow or T joints with a satisfying click.
Push both tabs and pull at the same time to release.
I've included a T joint that allows for a pipe to pass straight through.

Info:
The fit might be a bit sticky at first (especially with PETG), but will loosen.
The supports on the insert can be a bit annoying to remove, I found using a knife will dislodge them quiet easily.
I'm busy working on different joints and will include them when done (e.g. straight and 3D corner)
I'll expand to other pipe sizes if there's demand.
