Gaia Project: Corner Frames for Player Mat Acrylic Overlays

These are corner pieces that can be superglued onto the edges of the acrylic Player Mat overlays sold by the Etsy vendor Gaming Trunk for the board game Gaia Project. Their acrylic overlays are nicely designed to help keep pieces in place for the various Player Mats, but the overlays themselves just rest on top of the Player Mats and can be bumped. These corner pieces are glued onto the top of the acrylic overlay and extend down past the overlay to fit around the Player Mat itself, providing secure alignment.

Extensive tuning of the slicer settings were done in advance to get the transparent filament to print as clearly as possible. The pieces were printed face down on a Creality carborundum glass plate to make the tops nice and smooth and improve the transparency.
