The original needed heat inserts, i had to modify it to use the vroller spacers as using just nuts made it wobbly

MAKE SURE TO PRINT WITH PETG OR STRONGER! the piece is too close to heat sources and has to be mechanicaly stable.

NOTE: the pictures are slightly different from the model as is an old screenshot from a previous version, it works identical tho.

I dont have heat inserts so i remade the mount based on the design from Feral Engineer. This design uses the v-roller spacers to keep itself tight with the printhead and then screws and nuts to secure it in place and ensure no wobble. The design is also support free.

Both the nuts and vroller spacers are designed to be pressure fited, it should be able to be pushed by hand, however, if you have difficulty with it, you can use a screw with nut and washer to push it in place.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

changed the mounting mechanism to not rely on inserts. instead it reuses the v-roller spacers for the X axis (not the excentric one) and also holes for nuts to secure in place. I originaly tried to just add space for m3 nuts, but it was impossible to tighten due to the printhead plate being threaded, the screw would lock before tightening the bracket. Instead is thightened with the v-rollers and the nuts are just there to make it more stable.
