Magnetic Wireless Charging Tablet Mount

I had an old Samsung A7 Tab Lite lying around, so I decided to repurpose it as a wall-mounted dashboard.

The mount is a very simple shape with holes for 32MM magnets like these, and for (the guts of) a Qi charger such as this one.

My goals for the project:

1. Needs to be mounted solidly - so I can use it where it is without knocking it off
2. I shouldn't have to worry about charging the tablet
3. I can still remove it from the wall and use it wherever I want
4. The mount is as minimal and unobtrusive as possible

I'd say it was a success!

To get the tablet to stick to it, I used these metallic stickers, and to get it to wirelessly charge, I used an adapter like this one. The original charging adapter pictured made a (horrible) whining sound sometimes, but the new one seems better.
