To power up, place a finger on the pin behind the fan and turn the base of the handle. Once rubber band is wound, release finger to let it spin.

No supports are required, i got away without needing any brims. Parts should be printed in the orientation as per the combined file to allow for no supports. Important for handle to be printed this way as the axel is print in place.

Handle rotates only one way and fan should spin clockwise. If rotating wrong direction, gear on the top can be flipped to other side. 

It is important bearings on top freely spin and resistance is minimised. Glue is only required in two places, for the base and for the hook holding the rubber band. 

I find the thicker the rubber band, the better it works. Video of the fan in action uploaded in the ZIP file.
