The GEN2 Modular System is a 3D printable storage solution offering ultimate flexibility and customization. Perfect for home users, hobbyists, and small businesses, so you can print exactly what you need and customize every piece to fit your space and style.

Unlike store-bought sets, GEN2 lets you print only what you need and expand your setup whenever you want. The drawers snap together seamlessly, giving you unlimited expansion possibilities. With the unique QuickLock mechanism, rearranging or relocating drawers is quick and effortless, so your storage can grow and adapt with you.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Drawers:
The GEN2 rail that installs under the printer is 240 length, this fits perfectly on the Core One's build plate and maximizes your your storage space. In the video tutorial I used the following drawers:
240-1W-1H Decor Drawer
240-2W-1H Decor Drawer

You can also install any shorter length drawer such as the 185 (Standard) length drawers by using a Bi-Directional QuickLock

Faceplates:
You can use any GEN2 drawer with this system, some may require you to place your printer near the front edge of a table to access the handle. The faceplate I highly recommend is:
GEN2 Decor EdgeLable Faceplate - The handle is not obstructed by the surface below, you can also create custom labels, and the style compliments the Prusa Core One well, especially if printed in Prusa Orange :)

Replacement Feet:
If you no longer have the original feet you can also print new ones out of TPU with this model created by Jim Nangano HERE

PRINT SETTINGS:

• Feet - 4 perimeters, 25% infill (Gyroid)
• All other parts - 3 perimeter, 15% infill

TIPS:

Printing large models near the edge of a printer's build plate can sometimes lead to edge curling up deforming the rail. Here are some ways you can combat this:

- Clean your entire build sheet using detergent or 99% iso alcohol, additional adhesion can be achieved with glue sticks or adhesion promoters like Nano Adhesive
- Print with an enclosure to prevent drafts and cooler temperatures, preheat the enclosure for a few minutes prior to printing.
- After the print completes wait for the build plate to lower to room temp before removing the model.
- You can always print with materials that print easier and warp less during printing such as PLA

* Notes:

The touch screen on the Prusa Core One can sometimes make it difficult to remove 0.5H drawers after installing the drawer case. Luckily the touch screen is only held in place by magnets - opening the door and gently lifting up the touch screen slightly can make inserting the drawer much easier.
