Manta E3EZ Stepper Driver & CB1 Fan Mount
Description
PDFMounts 3 4010 fans, 2 above the stepper drivers, 1 for the CB1
HW required:
4010 fans x3
M3 35mm x4 (for mounting the bracket)
M3 10mm x6 (for mounting the fans)
M3 Nuts x6 (for mounting the fans)
I used Winsinn 40mm 24v 8500RPM Fans ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJQVML4N )
Print out of PETG or any other filament with a decently high melting point. I printed out of ASA for convenience.
Connect CB1 fan to MFan
Connect Stepper fan to fan0/fan1/fan2 (PA8,PB15,PB14).
Add the following to your Klipper config:
[multi_pin tmc2209fans_pins]
pins: PB15, PB14 #depending on which fan ports you use
[controller_fan tmc2209fans]
pin: multi_pin:tmc2209fans_pins
kick_start_time: 0.5
fan_speed: 1.0
idle_timeout: 120 # Keep running for 30 seconds after stepper stops
stepper: stepper_x, stepper_y, stepper_z, stepper_z1, stepper_z2
This will tell Klipper to turn the fans on when the steppers are engaged.
