This design began with the idea that a small structural shift, like a clip, could reshape how we carry tools in motion. Mountensil is a clip-on hiking cutlery set inspired by the simple gesture of sliding a bookmark into place. This project explores how familiar forms, like bookmark structures, can be reinterpreted through cutlery design.
The set includes a spoon, fork, and knife. Each piece features a functional handle that clips securely onto backpack straps, pockets, or gear loops, integrating naturally into an EDC setup.
The grip area is slightly thickened and textured for stable handling, even with wet hands or gloves.
Designed for portability without sacrificing utility, Mountensil turns daily cutlery into part of your gear system.
