Long-reach handle for the OneBlade that makes it easy to groom hard-to-reach places!

I've wanted something like this for a long time, the current Phillips design challenge was a good inspiration.  Fun project, particularly designing the compliant spring and 90-degree coupling to make the power on/off functionality work without requiring any assembly.

This is designed to maximize use of the CoreOne build platform.  If you have a smaller build platform, it's important to cut the file below the spring in the handle - you can attach the end of the handle using pegs or any other mechanism, but if you cut above that the model will not work well.

Recommended print settings:

  • .4 mm nozzle
  • .2 mm layer height
  • 3 perimeters
  • Supports painted on ONLY on the overhanging parts of the end where the OneBlade is held (see photo)
  • Automatic support generation OFF, it will cause major issues in the moving parts

I designed with PLA but any rigid filament should work (more flexible materials may cause different behavior of the compliant parts).
