2020 Extrusion Tap and Drill Guide with Vise Sleeve

This is an all-in-one tap and drill guide for 2020 Misumi aluminum extrusions.

2020 comes with a center hole so this guides the tap in so you do not tap crooked. 

There are also 2 and 4mm drill bit guides to drill wrench access holes. These are aligned for blind joints with no end cap.

Also included is a vise sleeve to place over your extrusion to protect the finish while tapping or drilling. 

The fit is TIGHT when first starting to use these tools but over time, they will become easier to work with. I used a piece of wood to slide along the extrusion and "hammer” the sleeve off the first time I use it. I did not need it afterwards.

Print settings:

PETG with 25% infill. I would not recommend using PLA due to the brittleness. PETG will allow some flex as you put the tool on and off.
