There's a popular project right now using a 7.3" Inky Impression display and adding it to an Ikea RÖDALM frame.
The original maker cuts the back of the frame to make the display fit which works fine, but I wanted to modify the backing from the 3D printed frame that I'd been using previously. So I did! I also created an insert to keep the display in place, and I used the mat that came with the frame.
I'd already added feet to the original frame (see my make if you'd like to see that) to make it stand, so I used a similar approach on the back of this frame too.
Both parts are fairly simple and they're available on tinkercad if you'd like to modify them to suit your needs.
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W Case you see in the pictures is also available on printables.
The author remixed this model.
The frame back is taken from the original and modified to fit a 5x7" frame, with feet added.
