Large format film box 4x5 5x7 (customizable)

Film box primarily for large format photography. It allows you to protect light sensitive film with three nested boxes, like the cardboard boxes large format films typically comes is. You can also use this for photographic paper.

All three boxes are 1mm thick on each side. Print in a black filament that is light tight, I used Bambu PLA Basic Black. You can test your filament in a dark room by holding a bright LED behind one box. If you see absolutely no light come through, it is should be safe for film, but use at your own risk.

The normal 4x5 box fits without additional bag and allows printing all three parts on one 256x256mm Bambu A1 build plate. There is a larger variant that requires two plates and should fit a bag. I also included a box I use for 35mm film test strips.

Print tips:

• Use a light tight black filament.
• Ensure that all layers have solid infill.
• Disable brims.
• Do not add text to the model, because you may compromise light safety.
