Buffer Attachment for HOMCOM Bicycle Trailer [PETG]

I recently purchased a bike trailer (also known as fietskar/ Lastenanhänger). Its frame is made of 20 mm diameter metal pipes. (EAN: 4251774961240)

I designed this “clamp and insert” buffer attachment to protect the frame paint when I set it in upright position to retract the coupling rod. I also reused two plastic pipe end caps that were part of packaging material. Also works well if the trailer accidentally bumps into a wall when you use the detached trailer for other purposes.

Print with PETG with usual PETG print settings.

With the provided models,

• Use frame protector rubber strips (3 mm thickness).
• Rubber bushes.
• A M6 screw and a bolt.
