If you ever used the small 3 gram superglue tubes, you know it can be messy and painfull to use. This is an attempt to reduce the pain.

This design went though at least 8 iterations before I called it done. I packed it features I thought it should have. It is half copied from the expensive “gell control” superglue tubes. They after all have just a simple 3g tube in the middle.

Features I packed in:

  1. Easy print with a flat bottom and minimal support.
  2. Extended base so it can stand upright
  3. A minimalist tab at the bottom to prevent the tube from sliding out.
  4. Tapered “wings” with slots so the tube will be squeezed from the back.
  5. A wide wing on one side so you fingers don't go inside the holder.
  6. Grooves at the bottom for an elastic band or wire to keep the tube in place.
  7. Easy squeezy compliant spring.
  8. Neck have a notch that keep smaller tube necks in position - optimised for 10/11mm tube necks.
  9. Slot behind wings to help squeeze from the back.

This is an easy print. Print laying horizontal at 0.2mm layer height. Turn off “Support for bridges.” I use “Snug supports” with 1mm wall width (2 walls with 0.4mm nozzle) and 15% cubic infill.
