I designed depth stops for my Forstner bits to reliably drill holes of the same defined depth every time.
This is a Fusion file into which you can enter the diameter and height of the sheath, as well as the diameter of the shaft, using user parameters (Figure 4) to create a suitable depth stop.
The depth stop is secured with one or three 2.5 mm diameter screws. This diameter is also configurable.
At the diameter jump between the cutting edge and the shaft, there is a support layer (red in Figure 5) that is easy to remove.
I've enclosed the STL files for my bits – they'll definitely fit some of yours.
Please make sure that the open flank of the depth stop is aligned with the ejector of the Forstner bit.
If you need other sizes and don't work with Fusion yourself, leave a comment with the three sizes mentioned above, and I'll add a corresponding STL file.
