First up, thanks to Domochevsky for releasing this blaster AND the step files!
Secondly, the parts here use M3 heat set inserts (5mm OD, 3-3.5mm height). Don't use any smaller ones, they will fall out or not be strong enough.
On to the mods…
Barrel
- Thickened the top of the barrel and added three M3 heatset inserts, so that you can add a Picatinny rail (model also included)

![]()
- Made a split pin which needs a heatset insert and a M3x20mm bolt to connect the barrel to the main grip body (replaces barrel-axis-v2.stl)
![]()
- Thickened the areas around these pivot holes

Barrel lock
- Adjusted the tolerences for the channel that the barrel lock rides on, so that it slides more freely. Also trimmed these latches so they catch better.

- Added threaded insert holes for the finger grips, you can then add a bolt or the included finger paddles to make them easier to push

Safety muzzle
- Added a loop where you can attach a sling
![]()
- Thickened the barrel to make it easier to print
Trigger
- Made the finger recess slightly curved like traditional triggers, also made it slightly narrower, as mine would bind in the grip piece

All in all, I had a lot of fun modding my blaster, hopefully these files will be useful for others.
The author remixed this model.
Some parts I changed up on my own Rail Spike
