This 4cm wide, 5cm tall, and 15cm long school bus is perfect for a paperweight or just decoration.
First, I boss extruded the main body of the bus:
Then, I added a sketch for the top of the bus:
Then I added tires:
Then, I added the bottom of the front of the bus:
After, I designed the hood using the loft tool:
I used the loft tool to create the windshield:
I used the fillet tool to smoothen out the front:
Then, I used the boss extrude tool to add windows and stripes to both sides of the bus:
After that I designed the back of the bus and used the boss extrude tool to add it:
I filleted the wheels so they were smoother:
To add more detail, I added a sketch to the front:
I colored the bus:
I boss extruded lights in the back:
I added more detail to the wheels:
I designed the stop sign. I used the dome tool to create the lights:
I added more detail to the front sign:
One of the first changes to the school bus design was the front sign that said “SCHOOL BUS”. I changed it so that it is in all caps and in the correct font:

The next change I made was to the wheels. I thought that they weren't detailed enough, and after a few different attempts, I found a good solution:

After:
Near the end of the modeling of the bus, I experimented with adding a grail. In the end, I thought it didn’t look good with the rest of the bus and I removed it:

Finally, before slicing, I realized that I would need to print the wheels and the bus separately, and when I separated them, there would not have been a hole for the wheels. I fixed this by adding indents for the wheels:
After printing, I super glued the wheel to the bus. The wheels fit perfectly. Some of the smaller details, such as the text on the stop sign and a light on the front didn't print, which could have been solved by scaling up the design.
