Bird Buddy Pole Mount Adapter System

Looking to expand your Bird Buddy experience and tired of constantly refilling the small Bird Buddy feeder everyday? This upgrade lets you mount your Bird Buddy Camera (Original or Pro) and the provided solar panel that came with your device for a 1" pole mount. If you have some M3 heat inserts and general M3 screws laying around you have everything you need to do this for your Bird Buddy camera.

This way you can move your Bird Buddy camera all around and focus it in on more robust full size bird feeders. It also makes for more fun and stunning photos with the brighter full landscape background.

I printed mine in ASA and live in Florida. It's been holding up well for me and I now have both my Original and Pro Bird Buddy cameras mounted this way. 

Supports:

You will need to use supports for these, unfortunately. Make sure you had supports selected as “Everywhere” for the solar panel holder (use grid supports for that part).

Hardware:

• M3 heat inserts (x4) that are placed on the four holes on the “Front Insert”
• M3 screws of various lengths

For the articulated arm, you will need to grab the following models from @danec below.

Articulated Arm Print Files from @danec:

• “Ball with Hex V2” (x4)
• “dual-socket-one-screw” (x2)
• “Screw knob M3 model 1” (x4)
• “26mm dia PIP marked clamp” (x2)

Utilized the hex ball mount system from @danec for mounting the Bird Buddy housing.

In addition, the Bird Buddy housing from @Snille was modified and used for the “Front Insert.”
