The “RootCanal” guides the water, you give your plants, directly to the roots of the plant. This allows you to keep your top soil or mulch layer dry, thus lowering the chances of pests like fungus gnats and diverse fungi. The many holes in the shaft make for an equal division of water to the soil, This way it reduces the risk of water flowing to one spot and standing still (=> rootrot!) to cause hidden reservoir underneath the soil.

Make sure to water your plants according to their needs, even with the rootcanal, too much or too little water will slow down the growth of your plant.
