I have some milk crates in the trunk of my car, which would slide around and make a mess when I cornered sharply or punched the gas. My little brother designed me these anchors (and submitted them for a CAD class project!) after which I tweaked them a bit to put more weight on the adhesive pads and allowing easier insertion/removal of the crates.
There are two files - print 3x of the ‘no_nubs’ model and 1x of the ‘nubs’ model for each crate that you want to secure. Cut and stick strips of hook-side hook-and-loop tape to the bottom of the anchors. Place the ‘nubs’ corner for a crate down first, then using your crate as a guide put down the rest of the anchors. I suggest putting the nubs corner in the back so that it's easy to remove the crate by tilting it back and to the side a bit.
Also publishing the step files if you want to remix it to fit slightly different dimensions of crate.
I printed this in Inland PETG, but I think any filament would work fine.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
