I have a custom acrylic enclosure for my Ender 5 Plus. I wanted to be able to temporarily vent fumes out of the nearby window while printing ABS/ASA. I decided to create parts to utilize a portable AC window kit that used a 5.1" exhaust hose (search for portable AC window kit 5.1 on Amazon). I'm guessing the white hoses are pretty much the same between vendors.
I separated the elbow and the threaded part because it's easier to print, clean up and glue together as opposed to trying to print it as one piece. The hose threads into the assembled elbow. The mounting holes are designed to mate with a standard 120mm fan.
I didn't like the look of having a bare fan mounted on the side so I designed a housing for it. I also wanted to try to spread the load on the enclosure wall by making the housing the same size as the adapter. The fan grill is based on the Noctua low noise grill design.
I replace the elbow with the cover when I'm printing PLA and PETG.
Edit: 6-23-25
I added a straight exhaust version as well as a threaded plug that screws into the elbow assemblies or the straight version. The plug was designed to plug a permanent installation version but works with these as well.
