Centauri Carbon Interior Chassis Runout Sensor Mount

This mount fastens to the top M3 screw hole for the wiring harness anchor on the right rear of the ECC. There is a hole for refastening the anchor point for the harness in the model. However, it is not required since the design of this mount keeps the harness in place fairly well.

This model is designed to use knurled heat-set inserts. If you have never done heat-set inserts before, you will need the following to get started:

• Soldering Iron - I use the Yihua 939D+
• Heat-set Insert Tool/Tips - This set is compatible with the 939D+
• Threaded Inserts, like this Brass Threaded Inserts Assortment Kit

If you don't want a more expensive DC soldering iron similar to the Yihua mentioned above, and want an all-inclusive and inexpensive way to get started, this kit will work just fine.

There are heat-set presses to help guide threaded inserts into your print. They typically include tips and the soldering iron, like the ones mentioned above. These are nice to have, but a luxury I have yet to invest in.
