The fans of MSI RTX 5090 Ventus 3X are very loud and the GPU runs hot. I wanted to replace the fans with better Noctua fans. Here is the deshroud bracket I designed. It probably won't decrease temperatures much, but sound level and pitch is greatly improved.
I also added an optional air guide to direct the hot air away from the fan intakes. Depending on your PC case, this can improve thermals by several degrees.
The shroud increases the length of the card by 3.5 mm. Width remains the same, and the overall thickness is 75 mm.
I printed these with a 0.2 layer height and a 0.4 nozzle. Use ASA or something else with good heat resistance. The bracket can be printed without supports. The cover and optional air guide need them. Use brim with air guide, otherwise it will most probably warp. The model requires a large printer with a big bed, it is not split to be printed in multiple parts.
The fans I used are 2x Noctua NF-A12x25 and Noctua NF-A8 PWM. Additionally you will need:
Small update to the air guide. Changed the shape a little making it easier to print.
