The filament pressure screw in the tool head of the ECC is not directly accessible. In order to access it the mid cover needs to be removed (4 screws). The pressure set out of the box is fine in general. With softer types of PLA, I  noticed it got almost cut in half by the gears and with softer TPU (85A NinjaFlex) I need to increase the pressure a bit for better prints.

Steps:

  • Remove the front cover and disconnect the fan connector.
  • Remove the 4 screws (2 on the left and 2 on the right of the mid cover.
  • Remove the mid cover and place the drill guide as seen in the pictures.
  • Pre-drill the drill guide with a drill 3-4mm (recommended)
  • Hold the drill guide in place (watch your fingers) and drill the hole.
  • Place the mid cover back and place the 4 screws back.
  • Connect the fan connector and place the front cover back.

Now you have access with an hex key to the filament pressure screw.

p.s. dont mind the hole in my cover, i measured and drilled manually on an outward edge before my mind thought about oooh yeaah you have a 3d printer.
